Purchased this recently as it seemed to be a great concept and would take up little space when travelling
However that is where the good part ends
Attempted to fit as per all the videos and instructions and it is not that easy
We are fitting this to a dual axle caravan and according to the videos the lock should fit over the wheel stud
This will never happen as the tyre gets in the way and does not allow the lock to slide over the wheel nut
In addition due to the thickness the hub also stops the lock fitting over
And as per the instructions when fitting use the two closest wheel nuts that is fine, however when you drive off and then attempt to fit again if the nuts are not in the same position there is not enough play to fit the lock again.
You either have to undo and refit the nuts or get a second set
And there lies the rub, ringing Purple line to order a second set of nuts they dont have any and have no idea when they are getting some in
So my suggestion is to hold off on purchasing this until Purpleline get their act together and update their videos and have spare parts to make the unit more usable
